I did this on walls a few years back and just loved it!
It really is easy to do and well worth it.
I never thought about using it as a counter top but, apparently it works well with the proper seal....
Can't wait to try this on a counter...

That's funny I thought this was a pic of the kitchen in your guest house since you do this paper decor. The right sealer is right.
